What Drives us?
The Story Behind Founding Our Mentorship
Several years ago we completed our first Botox and filler course and received our certifications to start injecting. However, we didn’t feel prepared to start injecting on our own with just one or two days of training. We also discovered practices only wanted to hire clinicians with experience. We felt that we had wasted our money and that our dream of a prosperous medical esthetics career were over.
Luckily, after an extensive search, we were able to find a couple of great mentors who provided us with world-renowned training and unprecedented guidance, which has been the key to our success.
Throughout the next couple of years, we continued to hear the same complaints from numerous clinicians, “I spent all this money to get certified, but I have no idea how to practice or who to go for guidance.” So, we built our own program to address both!
MD Esthetics Academy is not just a one-day course but rather an extensive 3-month journey of medical esthetics mentorship, specifically designed to ensure clinicians have the confidence, knowledge, and skills to begin a successful medical esthetics career.
The Mentorship: What's Included?
Over 20 Online Learning Modules
Focusing on anatomy, the aging process, & facial mapping using the Golden Ratio.
Over 30 Pre-Recorded Injection Demonstrations
- All neurotoxin techniques
- Upper 1/3 of the face (forehead and temple filler)
- Middle 1/3 of the face (cheeks, tear trough, A-frame, pyriform, nose)

Lower 1/3 of the face (nasolabial folds, jawline, chin, Marionette region)
2 In-Person Training Days
- Small groups of 2-3 students per instructor
- Personalized training with live models
3 Monthly Q&A Calls
- Follow your models through their journey and learn what to do next
- Open forum discussion with instructors and fellow students in order to answer the numerous questions along the way
A Certificate Of Completion
A Certificate of Completion will be provided upon completion of the 3-month course and will make you eligible for our Filler Fellowship Program, where you can learn, at your own pace, all the other Master Level filler techniques in the 6-month Mentorship (ie: Temples and forehead contouring, tear trough and A-frame eye rejuvenation, fern technique and lip and smile lines correction, and non-surgical rhinoplasty).
The Mentorship Curriculum
Month 1:
- Anatomy of the upper, middle, and lower thirds of the face
- How the aging process affects the face and treatments to address it
- The Golden Ratio and how to implement it in medical esthetics
- Indications and contraindications of neurotoxin
- Basic and advanced neurotoxin techniques including:
- Forehead and glabella, Crow’s feet, Brow lift, Bunny lines, Gummy smile, Masseters and temporalis, Lip flip and lip lines, and many more
Month 2:
- How to manage neurotoxin complications
- Indications and contraindications of dermal filler
- How to use the Golden Ratio to map out the Mid-face
- The different types of dermal filler
- The different types of injecting techniques
- Basic dermal filler techniques including:
- Cheek augmentation, Lip augmentation, M-shaped, asymmetrical, 50:50 proportion, Build out pout, lateral border support, hydration, how to combine neurotoxin and filler for optimal outcomes, softening of the nasolabial folds
Month 3:
- How to manage dermal filler complications
- How to use the Golden Ratio to map out the Upper & Lower face
- Advanced dermal filler techniques including:
- Jawline augmentation, Chin augmentation, Cannula technique for Marionette region, Mentalis, and nasolabial folds
